Voicebox is the name of a group of organisations, spearheaded by UK online centres, to bid for the contract to deliver CLG’s Digital Mentors programme.

Digital Mentors will be a network of people and organisations to help people in deprived communities in England develop skills in social and community media. Our primary objective will be to engage and equip citizens who feel ‘unheard’ or ‘voiceless’ with the tools to express and exchange views on issues of relevance to them.

By adopting an open and collaborative approach to the development of the bid (and its ongoing delivery) we will fan the flames of good practice around England, and share what we learn to anyone interested in helping their community find and express their voice.
